THE HISTORY OF

YWAM DUNHAM

EST. 1976

Acquired to house thousands of young people, the YWAM Dunham campus has carried from the very beginning the mission of equipping and sending young people to the nations.

  • A group of young people standing on the porch of a house, some sitting, with a van labeled "Youth with a Mission, Dunham Quebec" parked in front.

Our first Discipleship Training School ran in 1976.

We "set the stage" for incorporating the arts in missions

  • Two dancers sitting on a wooden box in a street performance, surrounded by an audience in front of a building with balconies.

Creatively proclaiming the gospel with a focus on the French world

  • Black and white photo of young people gathered outdoors in a yard with a tree, some sitting on blankets and others standing. A car and brick building are in the background.

Discipleship of the next generation over the course of generations

The evangelistic effort organized for the 1976 Montreal Olympic Games drew thousands of people to YWAM Dunham to share the love of Jesus in the streets of the city.
